Themis Ecosystem’s First EU Factory Will Generate Two Times More Products Than Predicted

In the times when many new technologies emerge, most of them are just repackaging old ideas, little upgraded and with a new shine on them. Don’t get me wrong. You can still get a lot of money with recycling established–but not implemented or poorly executed–ideas alone. Ask Elon Musk.

Good, original projects are rare birds. We found one a few years ago, and we like it more and more, partly because it is getting better and better. It is called Themis Ecosystem and was founded by European visionary Roberto Hroval.

Themis Ecosystem, a revolutionary business paradigm

Themis Ecosystem (TE) heralds a revolutionary business paradigm, establishing novel regulations and standards for pioneering technologies with an eye on the future. A concept as straightforward as it is ingenious forms the bedrock of TE’s framework. The brainchild of a visionary team, TE introduces an unparalleled process that forges a direct link between top-tier technologies and their supporters, effectively sidestepping intermediaries. The result is an inclusive avenue for all to scale up these innovations.

At its core, TE embarks on this journey by meticulously selecting premier projects hailing from the most impactful and promising domains. These domains encompass an array of sectors, spanning from waste management, housing, and energy to nutrition, information technology, transportation, and medicine.

The rationale behind this criterion lies in fostering environmental consciousness and propelling progress towards carbon neutrality. Furthermore, TE requires that the projects exhibit a well-established presence and proven high-added value.

In its illustrious history, TE has welcomed six distinctive drivers into its fold. Spearheaded by Hroval and an accomplished in-house team, these drivers form the backbone of TE’s ecosystem. Foremost among them is Project Phoenix8, an innovative venture that converts hydrocarbon waste into green electricity. Parallelly, Biomass Ultima, another driver, capitalizes on wood waste to yield environmentally friendly electricity.

These two drivers hold a pivotal role, serving as the nucleus around which other modules – such as vertical farming or lab-grown diamonds – coalesce, amplifying TE’s impact.

While the first one is waiting to be constructed, the second one is coming into its conclusive form. Although the team will build it in a very short period–less than a year–the final structure will be even more improved than was initially planned.

Optimization resulted in double the amount of final products

After ten years of testing and modifications, the team found a way to double the reactor’s efficiency. Roberto Hroval announced that they wanted to take this step eventually in the next three years. However, they decided to postpone the factory’s opening for two months and pledge all the equipment to double the effect from the beginning.

“Instead of 2.7 GWh, we will generate 5.4 GWh of electricity annually,” he announced. The reason is very demanding, but finally, a successful upgrade to a higher level of gas CH4 purification. The upper limit was 50 mg of impurities, but the plant will produce gas purified to less than 8 mg of impurities per cubic meter. As a result, the plant will produce more products, including organic tar and wood vinegar, besides originally planned electricity and organic carbon.

The procedure will be carried out through a six-month trial period while the factory is fully operated.

At a time when sustainability is gaining more and more importance, the factor of more significant care for nature is also essential.

The second level of optimization

The upgrade mentioned above is not the first that the factory has received. In the beginning, only the production of electricity and organic carbon was planned. Eventually, the team decided to produce additional products by connecting various modules to the main reactor. With the help of surplus electricity, the factory will create selected goods with high added value. The first two modules will be vertical farming and diamond-growing modules.

The production of high-quality vegetables and lab-grown diamonds created from utilizing the primary outcome–electricity–represents the first level of optimization. At the same time, the aforementioned further gas purification and doubling of productivity represent the second level of optimization.

“Just with the first optimization level, we overtook the development by seven years. With the second level, we are even more ahead of time. We will build a unique, state-of-the-art factory to produce alternative electricity and premium by-products. There is nothing like it in the world,” the founder explained.

The third level of optimization

Picture4

But there is another, even more advanced level of optimization: optimizing high-added value for supporters. Here is when diamonds come to place, creating thirty-three carats per module per month produced under the Zeta Quantum Diamonds brand.

Diamonds could play quite a significant role with investors. When cashing out, they will be able to choose in what form they want to be paid.

The reason lies in tax optimization, for diamonds are taxed less than money or not at all in many countries. In addition, supporters choosing to take diamonds can deposit them with the company at an attractive interest rate.

For this purpose, the company will prepare a special team dealing exclusively with diamonds. A buyback will be guaranteed at a pre-agreed price of US $2,000.00 per carat. The current market price for a carat of lab-grown diamonds is between 400 and 4,000 dollars.

The team will install more diamond production modules to cover all the needs of supporters who choose diamonds as soon as possible and endeavor to connect new modules whenever there is a surplus of electricity, ensuring a sufficient supply of diamonds.

Roberto Hroval said these changes had been quietly planned in the background for a long time. However, the team decided not to talk about them loudly until the tests confirmed all the necessary parameters. “Now that it is clear that all plans will be fully realized, we have decided to please our supporters with the news.”

He also explained that in addition to accelerated preparations for the launch of the first driver, the preparations for the second driver, which will also be located in Europe, are already accelerated. “However, the first factory alone will provide enough funds to pay those supporters who want to cash out,” the founder concluded.
