Very few pristine, dedicated, successful, and future-oriented people have no hair on their tongues. One of them is a European visionary, researcher, and serial entrepreneur, Roberto Hroval, the founder of the revolutionary business environment Themis Ecosystem. This is the second part of the interview with him (the first part is available here), where he shares his thoughts on business, life, innovation, and scientific development.
The New York Ledger: “What are other global issues?”
Roberto Hroval: “If I may be bold—politicians lack the courage, authority, and integrity to set important projects, stand by them, and work them through. They’re focused on ‘likes,’ ‘ votes,’ and other social reactions; ideas and changes are secondary. It used to be no different; however, at least some projects were executed. Now, it’s getting worse and worse.
We are in idle mode. A lot is happening, but it is not the disruptive science we need. We need a science revolution, like what happened in the 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s.
Unfortunately, we have sailed into a time we hoped we wouldn’t, a time we talked about thirty years ago—where we have neglected thinkers, philosophers, mathematicians, physicists, and science in general. We have prioritized influencers, performers, and celebrities who lack contact with real-life global problems, let alone the responsibility, capability, and willingness for the necessary changes in the future.
There is no genuine enthusiasm for breakthroughs. There are too few top talents, and they are not given enough recognition. They are the ones who will solve things, not the influencers or self-proclaimed experts, clinging to theoretical, unproven ideas around which they build their religions without a real plan for the future. Unfortunately, gossip, fake news, empty promises, and worthless chit-chat are the most progressing.”
NYL: “For readers who may not be familiar with your work, can you describe the Themis Ecosystem exactly?”
RH: “It is a global business environment with new rules of the game. It is based on a comprehensive view or synergy between nature, industry, and humans to benefit the planet’s future. The elements are interconnected, operating more interactively and with a greater technological impact than existing systems.
The core of the Themis Ecosystem is composed of breakthrough technologies called drivers. The conditions for joining TE are very strict, as the technology must be useful, advanced, profitable, ready to scale globally, and have a clear vision for the next fifty years.
Higher standards than environmental ones are required, as no emissions should go into the soil, air, or water. It must solve major problems in energy, waste, medicine, living, food, IT/AI, transport, and prosperity. Simultaneously, it must be profitable enough to distribute profit among supporters.
TE determines all of this with clear game rules: who can join, how, what they must already have, how they would scale, etc. TE also digitizes and monetizes driver’s products, allowing them to be distributed directly among supporters or to the place of use through the distribution of e-vouchers called IRMUs or Industrial Raw Material Units.
By creating and distributing IRMUs, we establish benefits for users, the environment, industry, and ultimately financial impact and prosperity.”
NYL: “When will the TE begin in full force?”
RH: “We are simultaneously launching several projects. Some are visible; others are happening right now. Some were finished about a year ago–particular products have been on the market already and are sold out up to seven years ahead. Officially, they have been waiting in the background. None of them have been officially launched yet because we will launch them simultaneously for a greater synergistic effect.
In addition to the first driver, a biomass processing plant, Biomass Ultima, we have already developed to the industrial scale a unique food technology for local organic food production called Green Vertical Farming (GVC), which will be operating under the John’s Organic Roots brand. We have also developed, at the industrial scale, a special chamber for natural stress reduction and increased well-being, Asclepius8. There is an online industrial exchange or OIX project, Project Phoenix 8, our charity organization We4Next Nation, and more.
According to the original plans, the grand opening should have already occurred, but global and local conditions have caused contractor delays. Things are nearing completion; now, we are mainly balancing projects. All technologies are ready and waiting for the driver to complete.
We aim to create a ripple effect with the simultaneous opening to increase the price of IRMU. According to expectations, the price of IRMU has already risen much higher than expected at this stage. After the launch, we expect the price to increase even more. ”
NYL: “So, if I understand correctly, the delay did not throw you off track or cause additional problems and pressures?”
RH: “On the contrary. On one hand, it did cause adjustments to plans, but on the other, it brought a lot of positive outcomes. For example, big companies and even the largest asset management firms joined us thanks to the delay. More than 1.5 million people are already waiting to enter the IRMU system, and we have more than 4 million overall supporters.
The delay turned out to be one of the greatest gifts for the success and progress of the entire system. Everything is evolving far beyond our expectations and preparations.
Kind of the stampede has already begun, even though we are trying our best to stay under the radar. We want to carry out the projects quietly until the grand opening. For us, it is just a rehearsal before the main show.”
NYL: “Let’s touch on the beginnings. How did you conceive the Themis Ecosystem?”
RH: “It’s an interesting but quite ordinary story. No one believed in the project. We presented the idea of Product Reincarnation Technology to a few influential and important people, including scientists. The technology was based on the ecological decomposition of waste tires into original raw materials, from which new tires are produced. So, the old tire is reincarnated into a new one. Everyone laughed at us and made fun of us, asking if we were making a religion or technology.
When our ideas started to be published in renowned blogs like Harvard University, Oxford University, Stanford University, Nature, and more, the voices slowly quieted.
Look at today. In China, a second factory has already opened, processing 500,000 tons of old tires annually and reincarnating them into new ones. What was our vision some eight years ago is now a reality.
By the way, we will implement this technology in our second driver, Project Phoenix8. We are working on it in the background to start shortly after the first driver’s launch.”
NYL: “Compared to humble beginnings, what is different today? Where do you experience the biggest leap?”
RH: “Above all, we are more confident and convinced of our work. Everything we started turned out to be not only correct but much better.
Many credible people have joined us. Large global corporations have started convincing us to include them in TE. Initially, we planned for around 100,000 people to be in TE and the IRMU system. The silent wish was a million.
Now, we have reached a phase where, through asset management companies, we already have millions of people available from the start and several billion fresh capital, which we never even dared to imagine. All the effort, faith, and perseverance have paid off a hundredfold.
This gives us the necessary confidence and drive. Not only do we not want to disappoint people, but we also want to provide them with such an experience that everything else will seem pale, small, and insignificant.”
NYL: “Are any other projects and technologies joining the Themis Ecosystem soon? Where do you think the system as a whole will move economically in, let’s say, the next ten years?”
RH: “Currently, we have six projects lined up in the nutrition, transportation, energy, housing, and quantum medicine industries, with more on the way. We do not intend to expand too much because we are highly selective in our choices. After all, when a project joins TE, its journey is just beginning, as it is then required to scale.
Having observed the development of these specific industries over the last thirty years, I can say there will be at least ten more projects. I am talking about incredibly intriguing technologies that will undoubtedly transform their respective industries. We will integrate them into TE and OIX gradually, one by one, in a controlled manner. We want to avoid unforeseen complications, mistakes, and the like.
Each project will release its IRMU based on a short-term ten-year plan, a long-term twenty-year plan, and our final evaluation. The recently provided combined estimated value of TE, during the initial phase of the first three years alone, stands at 22 billion USD, considering just the first two drivers.
Recent market analysis and economic assessment of the development of TE and OIX indicate that we could reach over 200 billion USD in market capitalization. However, I would hold off on making any firm predictions. But it is clear that the economic aspect will exceed all our expectations.”
NYL: “How do you maintain this positive energy in a world full of distractions and people mainly seeking attention and their moment of fame?”
RH: “One must protect their focus, priorities, and energy. I have time for myself to think and maintain my vision. The fact that I sleep very little gives me this opportunity.
I am unavailable to people who want to bring doubt, chaos, or ambiguities into my work. I don’t have the time or energy to hang out with negative people who convince me of their reasons why no progress is possible.
I carefully allocate my time to a narrow team, a few friends, and family. I enjoy good, constructive debates with people who stand by their beliefs, have values, and have something to show in life. It doesn’t necessarily mean big things. Everyone can move something in the universe if they approach it correctly and persist. Mother Teresa once said, ‘I don’t do great things, but small things with great love.’ And that led her to become one of the most influential and well-known women of her time.”
NYL: “What is, actually, the deep motivation that drives you forward—money, fame, reputation, influence…?”
RH: “None of that, for sure. I have only one desire or, perhaps better said, an impulse within me. I am grateful for my talents and potential, but I feel a particular obligation to use them for the world’s good. I believe every person should be aware of their strengths, range, and potential and utilize them accordingly.
This way, they would not only be successful but also fulfilled and happy. It doesn’t matter whether their influence reaches the next house or the other side of the world. Everyone can contribute to a better future for themselves, their family, and their community. Those with more pronounced talents should also feel a responsibility toward them.
I desire to contribute to the mosaic of civilization’s development and leave a mark that will improve the world. If I make even a tiny dent in the universe this way, I will be happy and satisfied and have fulfilled my purpose.”
