Justice Department moves to end consent decree with Seattle Police Department

The Justice Department moved Tuesday to end a permission decree with the Seattle Authorities Department, bringing to a close more than a years of federal guidance of the authorities department.

The Seattle approval decree was developed under the Obama administration in 2012 after a Justice Department examination discovered that the authorities department there had a pattern of utilizing extreme force.
