House Democratic whip’s daughter arrested in Boston at protest

Home Democratic Whip Katherine Clark’s child was apprehended and charged with attack after an encounter with authorities throughout a demonstration in Boston on Saturday, according to a news release from the Boston Authorities Department.

Riley Dowell, 23, was discovered by authorities tagging the Parkman Bandstand monolith “NO POLICE OFFICER CITY” and “ACAB”. While authorities attempted to detain Dowell, protesters surrounded officers and one was struck in the face and bleeding, according to journalism release.

The release described Dowell by her birth name.

Clark verified the releasein a tweet Sunday.

” Last night, my child was apprehended in Boston, Massachusetts. I enjoy Riley, and this is an extremely hard time in the cycle of happiness and discomfort in parenting,” Clark composed. “This will be assessed by the legal system, and I am positive because procedure.”.
