The National Archives is officially asking previous presidents and vice presidents to re-check their individual records for any categorized files or other governmental records in the wake of categorized files found in the houses of previous President Donald Trump, previous Vice President Mike Pence and President Joe Biden over the in 2015.

The Archives sent out a letter Thursday to agents of previous presidents and vice presidents from the last 6 governmental administrations covered by the Presidential Records Act (PRA)– from previous President Ronald Reagan’s White Home to today.

The letter, which was examined by CNN, demands that they inspect their files to make sure that product believed to be individual does not “unintentionally” consist of governmental records that are needed by law to be committed the Archives.
