Numerous environment activists obstructed entryways to the Federal Reserve Bank of New York City on Monday afternoon as part of a string of actions set to occur for Environment Week New York City.

The demonstration– led by Stop the cash Pipeline, a union of 240 eco groups, and demonstration group Environment Defiance– happened outside the Federal Reserve’s workplaces in New york city City and eventually stimulated a big cops action. Connecting arms to obstruct the structure’s doors, activists required an end to nonrenewable fuel source funding and for federal government action to end nonrenewable fuel source advancement.
