Home Democrats implicated President Donald Trump on Monday of trying to utilize the Department of Justice to incorrectly pay himself for legal damages he has actually sustained over the previous years, and they required senior department authorities recuse themselves from the matter.

In a public letter to Attorney general of the United States Pam Bondi, Deputy Chief Law Officer Todd Blanche and senior main Stanley Woodward, Home Judiciary Committee Democrats called the possible payment “a blatantly unlawful and unconstitutional effort to take” countless dollars from taxpayers.
