WASHINGTON– 2 employee of the Israeli embassy in Washington were shot and eliminated Wednesday night near a Jewish museum, Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem stated.
Noem revealed the deaths in a post on X after the shooting outside the Capital Jewish Museum, which lies actions far from the FBI’s field workplace in the country’s capital.
Chief Law Officer Pam Bondi stated she was at the scene with previous judge Jeanine Pirro, who functions as the U.S. lawyer in Washington.
Danny Danon, Israel’s ambassador to the United Nations, called the shooting a “base act of anti-Semitic terrorism.”
Authorities provided no information late Wednesday night on a prospective intention for the shooting. A press conference was anticipated later on Wednesday.
