Trump asks Supreme Court to block order for rehiring of probationary employees

The Trump administration on Monday made an emergency situation interest the Supreme Court to obstruct a lower court order requiring that the federal government rehire countless probationary staff members who were fired as part of the president’s federal administration home cleansing.
