DETROIT– All of Ford Motor Co.’s present and future electrical lorries will have access to about 12,000 Tesla Supercharger stations beginning next year.
Ford CEO Jim Farley and Tesla CEO Elon Musk made the statement Thursday throughout a “Twitter Spaces” audio chat.
” We believe this is a big relocation for our market and for all electrical clients,” Farley stated.
Musk stated he didn’t desire Tesla’s network to be a “walled garden” which he wishes to utilize it to support sustainable transport.
” It is our intent to do whatever possible to support Ford and have Ford be on an equivalent footing at Tesla superchargers,” Musk stated.
Farley stated there will be an expense to Ford owners, maybe a regular monthly membership.
The occasion came off without the humiliating technical problems that pestered Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ statement Wednesday that he was running for president.
