The 6% freeze will stay in location up until the FAA can validate it is safe to go back to regular operations.

” The FAA security group is motivated to see our air traffic control service staffing rise, and they feel comfy with stopping briefly the decrease schedule to provide us time to examine the airspace,” Duffy stated, including that “the security of the American individuals precedes.”

Bedford echoed those beliefs, specifying that the FAA’s leading concern “is, and constantly will be, security.”
