Cost of U.S. nuclear forces to rise dramatically, CBO says

The expenses to keep, run and update America’s nuclear forces through 2034 are anticipated to increase to $946 billion, a 25% boost from the price quotes launched in 2023, stated authorities with the non-partisan Congressional Budget plan Workplace.
