After Iran strike, police in D.C., New York City step up security

Authorities leaders in New york city City and the country’s capital stated they are increase security at places throughout the 2 cities in the wake of U.S. airstrikes versus Iranian nuclear centers Saturday.

The New York City Authorities Department stated it is keeping an eye on any prospective fallout from the attacks.

” We’re tracking the circumstance unfolding in Iran. Out of an abundance of care, we’re releasing extra resources to spiritual, cultural and diplomatic websites throughout New York City and collaborating with our federal partners,” the NYPD stated on X. “We’ll continue to keep track of for any prospective effect to New York City.”

Metropolitan Authorities likewise stated more officers are being stationed near holy places in the District following the military strikes.

” We are actively collaborating with our regional, state, and federal police partners to share info and screen intelligence in order to assist protect locals, companies, and visitors in the District of Columbia,” MPD stated on X.

The department stated there are no recognized hazards to the city.

President Trump revealed that the U.S. performed airstrikes targeting crucial Iranian nuclear centers at Fordo, Natanz and Isfahan. Those American attacks followed a week of extreme Israeli battle of Iranian nuclear and military targets throughout the nation.
