New york city City mayoral prospect Zohran Mamdani is dealing with criticism over a resurfaced video of him declaring to be the victim of anti-Muslim discrimination in the wake of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.

The video reveals Mamdani talking with citizens throughout his project for New york city State Assembly in February of 2020. He explains a variety of circumstances of supposed discrimination versus him and argues that there are “exceptions” to tolerance in America.

Mamdani declares his school instructor took him and another trainee out of class on 9/11 and alerted them that they might deal with bullying since of the attack.

In another circumstances, he states he was stopped at an airport when he was 15 and going back to the U.S. with his household. He states security interviewed him in a personal space and asked if he had actually been to a terrorist training school.

” In Uganda, I was Indian. In India, I was Muslim, and after that, when we transferred to New york city, I was all of those things. New york city still has something about it that lulls all of us into thinking that we too can end up being New Yorkers, no matter where you originate from or who you are …” Mamdani states in the video.

Conservative activist Amy Mek was very first to share the video in 2020, and she accentuated it when again on Saturday in the middle of Mamdani’s quote for mayor.

” 5 years earlier, I alerted New York City that Zohran Mamdani was not a ‘progressive’ however a jihadi-Marxist political possession weaponizing 9/11 injury to catch votes,” Mek composed on X.

Fox News Digital connected to Mamdani’s project for remark.

The video follows Mamdani dealt with comparable criticism for declaring his auntie stopped taking the train in New york city City after 9/11.

Mamdani stated he and his household sustained an “undercurrent of suspicion” in the city.

Vice President JD Vance pressed back on the story in a post on X.

” According to Zohran, the genuine victim of 9/11 was his auntie who got some (presumably) bad appearances,” Vance stated.
